How a check works

Search your destination
Enter the country and city of the place you're booking and see the local checkers who cover it.
Step 2
Choose your checker
Compare profiles, specialties, languages and the price each checker sets. Message them with any questions.
Step 3
Book an inspection
Paste the listing and say what to check. The checker visits, photographs and films it, and checks the street around it.
Step 4
Approve, then they're paid
Your report arrives with photos, video and a verdict. Your payment is held until you approve it.

- The property exists at that address. Front door, house number and street photographed, location pinned.
- It looks like the photos. Rooms, beds, bathrooms, kitchen, pool and outside space, shot from the same angles as the listing.
- Someone real answers the door. Where possible the checker meets the host or manager and confirms they know about the booking.
- The surroundings. Noise, building work, parking, the real walk to the beach or station, and how the street feels after dark.

FAQWhat is a holiday rental check?
A local checker visits the villa, apartment or holiday let you're thinking of booking, confirms it exists and matches the listing, and sends you photos, video and a written verdict before you pay the balance.
Which booking sites can you check?
Any of them: Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, holiday rental agencies, private owners advertising on Facebook or their own website. If there's an address, a checker can visit it.
How much does a check cost?
Each checker sets their own price. You see their starting price on their profile, and they confirm the final price for your property before you pay.
When does the checker get paid?
Only after you approve the report. Until then your payment is held by our payment provider.
What if no checker covers my destination?
Search your destination first. If no checker covers it yet, get notified when one joins, or contact us and we'll look for someone nearby. If a checker accepts but can't complete the visit in time, you get a full refund.
